Before DMs, texts, and social media, there were letters.
Sometimes I think, “What have I got myself into?” I started sending SASE stickers back in 2006, running my Happy Skateboarding shop out of Mesa, Arizona. One of the coolest parts of sending out free stickers is seeing what comes to my mailbox.
People send a stamped envelope, a little note, sometimes stickers of their own, and every once in a while, something completely unexpected. It’s pretty cool knowing that a few stickers can turn into a little connection between skaters who might never have crossed paths otherwise.
